My Devotional – The Blame Game (3)

Blaming came naturally to Adam and Eve, the father and mother of the human race. After all, who could fault them? God did! Their blaming was a result of how sin had changed them.

Their relationship to themselves, each other, their environment and even God, was radically changed by their irresponsibility. And since God can do nothing with people who won’t take responsibility for their decisions, He dismissed them from Paradise. What a price to pay! Here are two good reasons for giving up the blame game:
1. It makes you a victim. When you make someone else responsible for your circumstances, you put the power to change things in their hands. That means nothing will change unless they decide to change it. You make them the master of your fate. Only by accepting personal responsibility can you retain the power to change your circumstances.

2. It makes your miserable. You say, “But they hurt me.” Yes, but by harboring resentment you are hurting yourself over and over. The Bible says, “Keep a sharp eye out for weeds of bitter discontent. A thistle or two gone to seed can ruin a whole garden in no time” (Heb 12:14-15 TM). Before you know it your entire outlook gets distorted.

“Watch out for the Esau syndrome: trading away God’s lifelong gift in order to satisfy a short-term appetite…Esau later regretted that…and wanted God’s blessing – but by then it was too late, tears or no tears” (w.16-17 TM).

Forgive, take back your life and get out of the blame game!

Thank your for taking the time out to read this PR. I hope this was an inspirational message for you.

Affiliate Marketing Tip Number 10

Content Comes First

Above all else, your content must be your highest priority.
Your content is your foundation, the life blood on which the site exists. Without valuable and helpful content, readers won’t come. Focus on providing excellent content, and the monetizing strategies will work out.

Google gives more respect to unique content and if that comes first on your website then you are the king. The moment people start searching on Google, Google will present your article in first page as there is no other or fewer articles.

You must have unique content that’s added regularly, but don’t be discouraged. Finding unique content may not be as mind boggling as you might think. Picking topics you are passionate about is the first and most important step. Your ability to come up with things to write about will be a lot easier if they are things you are interested in. Ever notice how easy it is to go on and on when someone starts a conversation about your favorite movie or restaurant? It’s pretty simple. Just focus on your passions and you’ll never run short of unique content for your blogs or website. Creativity is nothing but inspiration from the things you’re passionate about.

Reading, watching TV or movies or even listening to the radio can all prove to be great tools for generating unique content. Ideas will come into your head as you engage in these activities and all you have to do is capture your thoughts as seed content for you to elaborate on later in an article. An article laced with a tinge of humor or a hint of controversy will make it an even more interesting draw to your audience. Combining your passion for the subject along with a diversity of seed content from sources like magazines, newsletters, books or even other blogs all serve to provide food for your creative mind.

Once you start compromising your content to cater to the affiliate programs or any other money making venture, you will lose your readers. Once that happens, you will lose the opportunity to receive any earnings from any of your ads, be they CPM, CPC, or referral based.

Think Like A Marketer

Successful Internet Marketers can teach you how to make money online and that very same information that means tens of thousands of dollars for them may be nothing more than confusion and frustration for you. Why do we see the same information in a different way? The reason that it does is something that I had to find out for myself before I could make the how to make money systems work for me… It was going through my “marketing filter” in my mind without being processed the same as it would for those that were thinking like marketers.

I had a problem with selling to people. I had problems of seeing things as opportunities instead I looked at the things I was doing as something everyone else would criticize me for.

Thinking like a marketer is crucial to your success. I have covered this slightly before but want to re-visit this subject again as it is crucial to your success as a marketer.

You will find that everywhere you look that everyone teaches you the systems, or the how to “make money online”, but very seldom will you find anyone that teaches you that you also need to know how to think like a marketer. This is the missing piece.

Do you honestly want to be a successful internet marketer? If so then you need to be a marketer.

How can you possibly go about trying to build an internet marketing business without BEING a marketer? It is like trying to build a house with no foundation. What happens to the house not built upon a good solid foundation? No wonder so many people fail!

Being a marketer would mean you have to sell something and who wants to be a “sales person”? It doesn’t sound very exciting does it? Our minds think of the car salesman and who wants to be seen as the person following you around constantly pitching to you. I have to tell you though that selling is part of the game and is very essential if you are going to be a marketer “NOBODY” makes money until they sell something.

Regards and Blessings to you,

Jack McLaughlin
