My Devotional – Whatever it Takes

The word “diligence includes such qualities as hard work, honesty, persistence and striving for excellence. The New Living Bible Translation puts it this way: “Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.” One expert says, “Success doesn’t come from being a hundred percent than your competition, but from being one percent better in a hundred different ways.”

Syndicated business columnist Dale Dauten says: “If you want to be creative in your company, your career or your life, it all comes down to one easy step…the extra one. When you encounter a familiar plan, you just ask one question: ‘What else could we do?'”

To succeed you’ll have to do more – more than you may want, more than your competition, more than you think you’re capable of. The poet William Arthur Ward said: “I will do more than belong – I will participate. I will do more than care – I will help. I will do more than believe – I will practice. I will do more than be fair – I will be kind. I will do more than forgive – I will forget. I will do more than dream – I will work. I will do more than teach – I will inspire. I will do more than live I will grow. I will do more than suffer – I will triumph.”

What Does Everybody Need?

It’s Selling Advertising!

Why is it the needed?

Well, I’ll refer to the great Mark Twain to best answer this question.

———————————————————————–

“When everyone is looking for gold, it’s a good time

to be in the pick and shovel business.” – Mark Twain

———————————————————————–

Mark Twain’s famous quote hit the nail on the head.

Digging for Gold is a nice dream, and there are people who strike it rich online, but the real Gold Rush is selling the “Picks and Shovels” to the Gold miners Online!

This is actually the real way to pocket cash over and over again.

What are the “Picks and Shovels” for these Gold Miners? (Business’s and online Marketers)

It’s Advertising Services! Yes, Advertising Services.

If you really want to make easy money without struggling …

Start Selling Advertising!

I’ve seen just about every hot opportunity under the sun since I’ve been marketing online. Some are good, some are great and some come and go in a flash, but there’s one thing that never goes away and that one thing is a huge demand for Advertising!

You and I both know that all business’s need advertising. Knowing this should direct us into the realization that we can’t lose here. Generating income is almost guaranteed by concentrating on delivering quality advertising to business’s and marketers.

And did you know that billions are spent yearly on advertising? If this is the case, why not earn a small chunk of that! It’s there for the taking.

Thousands of people on a daily basis are searching for ways to make money, joining one program after another and never earn any money.

These people who are searching for these opportunities are finding them through what? You guessed it right: ADVERTISING!

Someone has to advertise them meaning the promoter has to buy advertising.

WHY CAN’T THAT BE YOU!

In my opinion, there is not a better product to sell online then advertising.

If properly advertised to a mass business audience, you can earn good money by selling other companies advertising.

Your chances of earning money are much better using this method then jumping from one program to other.

Selling advertising is a repetitive business, which means steady, growing income.

Once you get a client and they buy advertising from you, and if that advertising produces results for your client, it’s practically guaranteed that your client will be back to buy more advertising from you over and over again.

Advertising Trends

Have you ever wondered how many online stores there are in the world, how big the eCommerce market is, whether it’s growing and if so, how fast? No one should start a new business (or run an existing one for that matter) without doing some basic market sizing. We’d like to share what we’ve learned in our journey to size the eCommerce market opportunity for you since, if you’re reading this, you are either already involved in this market or thinking of jumping in.

Here’s an infographic below to help paint this picture. Keep reading for the full scoop!

Reliable Sources

Having reliable advertising sources that produce results for their promoters is another very important issue.

There are a lot of people putting a lot of content online about online advertising. It’s everywhere, but there’s a reason for that: we’re all still learning. Compared to newspaper advertising, which is centuries old, and broadcast advertising, which took hold in America in the 1920s, online advertising is just a brand new baby. We can barely hold our heads up and there’s a lot left to explore, practice and share.

If you are serious about your business you need to Advertise.

Because of the endless sources, it can be hard to decide which are relevant and worthwhile, and which are just regurgitating others’ ideas. Here’s my industry advertising choice with a brief synopsis of their compensation plan:

LEASED AD SPACE

Earn Big Money and Get Paid every 72 hours

The only thing guaranteed to make money

Rake in $100 a pop selling advertising on autopilot

Earn $100 on ultimate ad packages.

70% of your orders will result in $100 commissions.

Earn $25 on guaranteed traffic and silver/gold packages.

Earn $25 Lifetime Bonus Commissions on every sale your customers ever make for life.

Earn $25 on every person who sets up their own reseller site from your page.

Plus they’ve added a second level of lifetime bonus commissions for you.

Here it is in a nutshell

Every one of your customers who chooses to sell advertising will be in your sales force for life.

At any time one of them ever makes a sale you will receive a $25 bonus commission, it’s a flat $25 over ride on anything that’s ever sold on the site.

The numbers are staggering,

For example if you had a sales force of 100 and they each made only one sale per week, you would rake in $10,000 per month from their efforts alone.

Buy the ultimate ad package, and use it to promote your own reseller website, and make sales from your own website. Plus, when you become a reseller, you can get $100 knocked off the ultimate ad package, instead of receiving the $100 commission.

Remember, selling advertising is a billion $$$dollar a week market,

You’ve made the right decision

Affiliate Marketing Tip #5

Select Affiliate Offers Carefully

Take the time to go through all the different options for products or services available through affiliate programs. Put some thought into which products or services your readers may need or like. Also, change the ads around often, try different ones, and use different graphics and text to see which are the most effective.

It may take some time before you figure out the best formula, and you may also find that you need to continually rotate ads to attract more attention.

Before you run out and join a bunch of affiliate programs, take a moment to think about your current web site visitors. What types of products and information would they be most interested in?

For example, if you have a web site that deals with pets, joining an affiliate program that sells pet supplies might be a good fit. This would be something your average visitor would have an interest in. Joining a program that sells books on How To Kill Your Neighbor’s Pesky Pet, may not be such a good fit. That’s a bit of an exaggeration, but I think you get my point. If your affiliate program doesn’t appeal to your site’s visitors, you will not have much success.

More Isn’t Always Better:

If joining one affiliate program is a good deal, then why not join 500 programs? Don’t stop there, why not post as many different affiliate banners as will fit onto each web page? If this sounds like a good philosophy, think again! Posting too many banners and text links on your pages will not only look sloppy and slow down the time it takes to load your pages, but will confuse your visitors, resulting in less click through traffic, rather than more. (Click through traffic – People that actually click on your affiliate banners and/or text links.) It’s best to focus on just a couple affiliate programs. And make sure to keep your pages simple, easy to read, and aesthetically pleasing.

Increasing Your Click Through Traffic:

As I said before, your web pages should be simple. Too many banners, especially those that change rapidly or flash, can be very distracting and annoying to your visitors. Also, don’t rely just on banners to generate click through traffic for your affiliate program. Adding text links in addition to banners will greatly increase your click through percentages. Banner ads are becoming so common that many people don’t give them a second look. By adding simple text links on your web pages which explain a little more about your affiliate program’s product(s) you can capture the attention of your visitors and increase your click through traffic. Also, the placement of these banners and text links is important too. Putting these at the bottom of your pages will not result in as many hits as you would have if they were displayed in a more prominent place on your page.

These are just a few of the main aspects of affiliate programs which you should be familiar with if you plan to incorporate any such program into your web site. I hope this provides you with additional insight and helps you in selecting the right program for your site.

Affiliate Marketing Tip #4 – Practice Transparency

Honesty and full disclosure is a necessary part to building a loyal reader base.

Just as the term implies, your customers need to be able to see who you really are on social media platforms. Don’t over-think what your image should be or try to be something you aren’t. Your authenticity will translate as both honesty and integrity to your customers.

Always disclose your affiliations. Your readers will appreciate your honesty, and will feel better about contributing to your earnings. If they sense that you are being less than honest about your affiliations, they are savvy enough to bypass your link and go directly to the vendor just to avoid giving you referral credit.

You should have nothing to hide. Kind of. Yes, you should be up front and personable via social media. However, you should not over-share either. Trade secrets, tedious company details, and your heartbreak over a recent break-up do NOT need to be disclosed. Rather share what is appropriate and engaging, share often, and always keep it professional.

They know they are supporting you by using your referral links. Make them happy and eager to do so.

If you are tweeting from your personal account about a fantastic company product, you need to share your connection to your company. Not only is that an ethical social media standard, but the FTC insists upon it.

Without a doubt, transparency is a fundamental part of most successful social media connections and campaigns. And your company’s willingness to be transparent in a way that customers have come to expect will only mean further brand loyalty in your future.

PRACTICE TRANSPARENCY. It will pay off in the long run.

Affiliate Marketing Tip #3

1. Focus on Getting Traffic

Find ways to get more and more people to see your product. I was at a booksellers’ convention recently, and a bookstore manager said that he noticed people stayed around more when he offered free coffee. As they lingered, more people bought books. The he added a coffee bar, and his in-store traffic doubled and his sales went up too.

In the same way, you want to increase your online traffic to your site for your affiliate marketing business.

2. Choose Products Carefully

You do want to offer people good products. Check out what people have to say about them online. You may not be able to try many of the products yourself. Sometimes that makes us feel a little odd about promoting products we have not tried, but do you think the people in retail stores own all of the products they promote.

Just do your due diligence in getting good products to promote.

3. Choose Products with Good Sales Conversions

One measure of this is the “gravity” for the product. This is a number that perhaps has a technical formula to produce, but the higher the gravity, the more sales that have been made recently. Some people shy away from products with high gravity because they think the competition might be too high.

On the other hand, you do want a product that sells well. Products with high gravity do sell well.

4. Build Trust with Your Audience

You want people to buy from you, so you want to sound trustworthy to them. How do you do that? You write, truthfully, honestly, and naturally.

Sometimes it is difficult to build that trust when you only have one opportunity to talk to your prospective customers.

This can be remedied, however, by giving people the opportunity to sign up to receive information from you. If you can give them something (builds trust) in exchange for their email addresses, you can begin to build their trust over a longer period of time.

5. Build Your List with Care

Building an email list is one of the greatest affiliate marketing tips you can get. Your list has prospects on it who will begin to look to you for information on a certain product. The list gives you the opportunity to build trust and establish a relationship with your prospects.
